For those Rock of Love fans out there, I’m sure you were rejoicing as I was on Sunday when crazy Lacey FINALLY got the boot!

Was it the grilling Bret got from Lacey’s dad about signing a pre-nup before getting married? Uh, hello?! Bret’s still dating two other girls; I wonder what made dear old dad think that wedding bells were anywhere in the near future. Was it witnessing the fight between Heather and Lacey, where Heather was calling her a manipulative liar in front of his face that got him thinking that his “crazy Lacey” was really crazy? Or was it just hanging out and having WAY more fun with the other girls and their parents? Check out this video of Bret opening up gag gifts from Jes’ parents that includes a human-sized condom!

I definitely think that it was a combination of Lacey’s scary, money-makes-the-world-go-’round, pre-nup pushin’ dad and the fact that Lacey’s been called out by everyone in the house for her manipulative ways that made Bret decide that maybe he couldn’t trust to be around her after all. The bandana-wearing cowboy rockstar finally saw the light, and we’re SO glad.

Let’s see who will survive the final round and makes it onto Bret’s tour bus in the end. At this point, I’m kinda diggin’ Heather but just like you, I’ll have to wait and see.

Thank goodness there were lots of Emmy’s fashions this year that were amazing to make up for some of the bad fashions you’re about to witness.

Vanessa Williams looks like she’s about to fly away in this feathered Kevan Hall. Thankfully her hair and makeup look natural and flawless.

Kyra Sedgwick’s Oscar de la Renta tiered frock in black looks dreadful for the red carpet.

Another black dress on Jamie Pressly by St. John looks too dark for this afternoon event in sunny Southern California.

And finally, Hayden Panettiere gets the ultimate “what-were-you-thinking?!” award for worst dressed of the evening in this Marc Bouwer gown.

The stars at last night’s 59th Annual Emmy Awards were definitely shining bright! We saw a lot of jewel-toned colors this year that really popped on the red carpet. Take a peak a a few of my favorites.

My absolute favorite look of the evening was Heidi Klum in this stunning shade of raspberry Dior by John Galliano.

Ellen Pompeo looks like a modern day goddess in this navy Michael Kors design.

Entertainment Weekly threw their 5th Annual Pre-Emmy’s bash for the event’s nominees on Sept. 15th in Hollywood. It was definitely star-studded with the year’s biggest names in TV!

(Murderer) O.J. Simpson got arrested in Las Vegas, Sun. 16th, under armed robbery charges. I wonder if he’ll actually go to jail this time.. hmmm.

Sorry 50 Cent, but early numbers coming in from his albums sales show that ‘Curtis’ is falling behind Kanye West’s ‘Graduation’. The Daily Cookie hears that Kanye has sold about 437,000 records compared to 50 Cent’s 310,000. Is retirement really in the stars for this rap star? I think it’s too soon to tell, so stay tuned!

Tomorrow is a big day in hip hop music, folks. 50 Cent and Kanye West are going head-to-head with highly anticipated album releases Tuesday, Sept. 11th.

The two albums have been highly publicized by each side, heating up even further last night when 50 and Kanye came out leering at each other before presenting the Most Earth-Shattering Collaboration at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.

After Kanye West got denied from MTV to open the VMAs and got shut out yet again, losing the coveted Video of the Year Award to Rihanna, he stirred up more publicity for himself by declaring that he will “never return to MTV“.

For 50, even with powerhouses like Timbaland and JT featured on his album, Curtis, he has publicly declared that if his record sales fall behind Kanye’s in its first week, that he’ll retire and will stop making solo albums.

The show was a total mess. The main stage had no energy because all of the fans were partying in the Fantasy Suites (wish I was there!). There weren’t enough big-show performances and out of the, I dunno, three we got, Chris Brown completely rocked it out with Usher-esque moves and flair we’d expect from Justin Timberlake. Chris Brown got everyone up and out of their seats and even Diddy was pumped up. Maybe you can make his band!

The Fantasy Suites were a fun idea but I don’t think was appropriate for the VMAs. The VMAs are a big deal and fans expect big performances from them. The suite performances were good, but lackluster for the audience AND we didn’t even get to see the entire shows! We also got performances from the same artists and didn’t get to see a lot of other noteworthy musicians from the past year. Don’t get me wrong, I love Timbaland and his whole crew and could watch them all day, but what about the rest of America?

Try again next year Executive Producer, Jesse Ignjatovic; make better decisions and give us a better show!

We got a sneak preview at Brit’s opening act at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards and I must say.. I’m not speechless. She was obviously lip syncing, not really dancing, her body wasn’t rockin’ like she normally is during MTV performances, and worst of all, there was no “wow” factor - at all. We’re on Day 3 of Fashion Week in New York and my pick for today? Miss Vera Wang.

This seasons show featured a lot of mustards, olives and browns with blues and purples thrown in every so often. Vera Wang also designed her like with fabrics of subtle metallics and sheens. The silhouettes were loose and straight, most not form-fitting at all. Check out her enter line here.
