My Bridesmaid FOTD
November 25th, 2007 by Lilan
I managed to find one photo from my cousin’s wedding - the photog took this picture and gave us an instant print!. And with my new camera, I just snapped a photo so that I could have a digital copy for myself (I know, super ghetto :D). Isn’t Big Daddy so handsome? Too bad the photog didn’t focus in on us both - why?!
Anywho - here’s what I used for my makeup that day!
Face:
- Chanel Hydramax+ Serum after cleansing, then
- Chanel Hydramax+ Moisture Boost Cream
- Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Nude
- Lancôme Dual Finish Fragrance Free Powder Compact
Brows:
- MAC 266 Small Angle Brush
- Shiseido Eyebrow and Eyeliner Compact in BL3
Eyes:
- MAC Paint Pot in Painterly - base
- Laura Mercier Petite Eye Palette in Nighfall
- Topaz (bronze-taupe shimmer color) - all over lid
- Deep Night (dark navy matte color) - outer lid/crease
- Pearl (champagne shimmer color) - browbone
- Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black Ink
- MAC #32 Lashes
Cheeks:
- MAC Powder Blush in Peachykeen
Lips:
- MAC Lip Pencil in Lure
- MAC Lipstick in See Sheer
- MAC Lipglass in White Magic from the McQueen collection

Thanks so much, Vanessa! I was really kind of surprised that it even stayed on all day with minimal touch up! Woo hoo!

Oh, so pretty!!! I love it! Aren’t #32 lashes great? Those are probably my favorites. Also, I love the flowers in your hair. Did you all do that, or is that your personal inspiration?

Wow you look stunning! The makeup went perfectly with your dress, and those flowers in your hair are so cuutee.

Hey Jen! I love the #32 lashes. My regular lashes are soo short that even these super natural looking ones make my eyes pop! I always love to put flowers in my hair, it’s perfect and romantic for a wedding - and all the makeup I did myself!

Thanks Kia! The color may have been accentuated by some mixed drinks I was consuming that evening

Wow I love your cheeks! Such a gorgeous colour! Btw, do you use LM Tinted Moisturizer - the oil free version or the regular one?
On November 27th, 2007 nilla cookie said:
Thanks Beth and Ivy!

Hi Anna, thank you so much!
I use the regular version of the tinted moisturizer since my skin is on the normal/dry side. If you tend to get a little oily, I’d use the other version
Thanks for stopping by!

Hey Beauty411!
I really do love LM tinted moisturizer - a lot. Her shadows are great, too. Although I must say, the matte navy was a little hard to work with and blend, but in the words of Tim Gunn, I had to “make it work!”
Thanks for stopping by!
