I *Heart* Chanel Holiday

chanelnoel2007.jpg

We’re really seeing a trend in sparkles and pink. Like Bobbi Brown’s Pink Quartz Collection for Holiday, Chanel gives us more amazing nudes and pinks with so much sass and pizzazz you can’t help but want to put on your cutest little black dress and find a place to go out just so you can find an excuse to put on a full face of Chanel’s holiday collection!

Probably the most notable of the holiday collection is the Limited Edition 4 CAMÉLIAS DE CHANEL – a cute quad of four complementary cream lip shades – rose, sheer rose, lustrous white and plum – in form of precious camellias. This very chic lip palette retails for $65 US and I found myself getting suckered in to buy one a couple of weeks ago while scouting the Chanel counter because the SA told me there was only two left! I’m not sure if I will keep it because as soon as I stick the lip brush in it, it will no longer be the beautiful piece of beautiful art we admired when we first decided to bring it home from the makeup counter.

LES 4 OMBRES Quadra Eye Shadow ($55 US) is another item that is a splurge as much as it should be a staple in your makeup arsenal. For Holiday 2007, Chanel gives us two beautiful Limited Edition palettes – Radiant Gems (check out my makeover a couple of months ago at the ) and Winter Nights. Use them wet or dry to achieve multiple effects.

And who can resist Chanel Glossimers ($25 US)? I certainly can’t – and really, really want to get it in Pink Crystal, a Limited Edition color. If you know Glossimers like I do, they come in beautiful colors with long-lasting formulas. They never disappoint so I don’t see how one more in my purse could do any harm.

Are you loving Chanel Holiday as much as I am? What are you going to get from this collection? I’d love to hear!
