H&M Launches ‘Fashion Against AIDS’
H&M announced the launch of Fashion Against AIDS, their AIDS awareness project/collection together with Designers Against AIDS that will hit H&M stores worldwide beginning Jan. 31st, 2008.
The idea behind the collaboration is to alert young people to the actual HIV/AIDS situation and to make them think about prevention and caring for themselves and their loved ones.
H&M’s collection for Fashion Against AIDS includes organic cotton T-shirts, hooded jackets and minidresses - all designed by celebs including: Timbaland, Rihanna, Scissor Sisters, Katharine Hamnett, Rufus Wainwright, Good Charlotte, Ziggy Marley, Chicks on Speed, Justice, Jade Jagger, Henrik Vibskov, The Cardigans and My Chemical Romance, who all participated in this project free of charge.
Head on over to your nearest H&M store this week starting Jan. 31st and pick up a few items that are for a good cause and one that helps you look good! I’m personally going to pick up Timbaland’s t-shirt for the BF; I know he’s going to love it.
