Mrs. Cruise, Cruisin’ Along
Amidst all the controversy around Tom Cruise every other week, somehow Katie Holmes just seems to stay out of the negative limelight, revelling in her Mom of the Year status and fashion cover shoots.
Now, she’s definitely not the first to sport the bob this year (Posh Spice = too chic for me, and Rihanna = THANK YOU!), but I think that’s she’s definitely turning it into a trend that’s catching like quick fire. As fast as The Rachel, maybe? Eh…
I honestly think it looks great on her and it let’s us regular women know that we can pull off a fab celebrity look, too.
Are you going to take the plunge and try a new beauty trend this year? What is it? I want to know!
Katie Holmes is also going to be in a new movie out in theaters on Jan. 18th called Mad Money where she co-stars with Queen Latifah (oh la la, Cover Girl!) and Diane Keaton. It’s about a couple of women who decide to steal money from a bank they work at and justifying it because the money is going to be destroyed anyway.
The trailer looks pretty amusing, like one of those movies you’d just go see when there’s nothing else to watch. What do you think? If it were you, would you take money knowing that it was going to get burned up anyway?
PS – isn’t Baby Suri just the cutest? She’s like a precious, little doll!!

I totally had Katie’s short haircut circa 1999, ha.
She looks great! I’ve noticed her style has really evolved into a sleek, classic look and I totally dig it.
Are you bummed about the Golden Globes being cancelled?

I remember getting a bob around that time too, but I don’t think mine was nearly as cute as all the bobs I’m seeing right now :I
I’m REALLY bummed about the Golden Globes getting cancelled. The award shows are all about the red carpet and me watching the Fashion Police on E! the next day. I hope that the rest of awards season goes off without a hitch!

I think we all had the ‘Pob’ (Posh+Bob) back around ‘98-99 (and then again in 2006), but I’m not so sure that it mine looked so great; granted it’s not called the ‘Posh Bob’ for nothing! You have to have the time and/or money to style that chin-length bob regularly (I didn’t, so mine always looked like a mess). Still, it’s great for gals like Katie, Posh and Anna ‘Nuclear’ Wintour.
Forget the Pob! I want the ‘Suri’, ’cause Suri Cruise and her little haircut are too cute for words!
PS: You think you’re bummed about the Golden Globe’s? Imagine how Rumer feels! Poor little rich girl…

Rumer Willis? Oh lawd she’s a hot mess. What was up with her hair a couple of months ago? And now she’s pulling a Britney with her not-so-cute weave… uhhh, WHAT???

I really like Rumer, if only for the fact that, despite her brutal nose-job (seriously, who is homegirl foolin’ with that?), she’s still charmingly ‘unique’ looking.
5 will get you 10, those extensions were for her failed turn as Miss Golden Globes; $12 bucks down the drain! Poor, poor Rumer!

I enjoy the “unique”-looking girl as much as the next person, but the poor girl just hasn’t pulled it off for herself very well yet.
She just looks awkward all the time and I just don’t get it!
