Mrs. Cruise, Cruisin’ Along

Amidst all the controversy around Tom Cruise every other week, somehow Katie Holmes just seems to stay out of the negative limelight, revelling in her Mom of the Year status and fashion cover shoots.

Now, she’s definitely not the first to sport the bob this year (Posh Spice = too chic for me, and Rihanna = THANK YOU!), but I think that’s she’s definitely turning it into a trend that’s catching like quick fire. As fast as The Rachel, maybe? Eh…

I honestly think it looks great on her and it let’s us regular women know that we can pull off a fab celebrity look, too.

Are you going to take the plunge and try a new beauty trend this year? What is it? I want to know!

Katie Holmes is also going to be in a new movie out in theaters on Jan. 18th called Mad Money where she co-stars with Queen Latifah (oh la la, Cover Girl!) and Diane Keaton. It’s about a couple of women who decide to steal money from a bank they work at and justifying it because the money is going to be destroyed anyway.

The trailer looks pretty amusing, like one of those movies you’d just go see when there’s nothing else to watch. What do you think? If it were you, would you take money knowing that it was going to get burned up anyway?

PS – isn’t Baby Suri just the cutest? She’s like a precious, little doll!!
