MAC Fafi Mania!
The long-awaited MAC Fafi collection just released today, Feb. 13th, and just in time for you to create perfect, girly looks for that hot Valentine’s date with your man or your man-banning girlfriends!
I had actually planned to skip on the hoopla that is Fafi, a French graffiti artist in which this collection was inspired, but upon browsing the MAC counter at my local Nordie’s this morning, I walked away with WAYYY too much stuff! I know, I know, it’s Limited Editon and is going to fly off the makeup shelves faster than you can say Barbie Loves MAC, but geez, did I really need to buy all this stuff?
The answer is YES. Just looking at the colors in the pots and tubes doesn’t do it any justice. Most of the colors looked so out there to my neutral-loving arse, but when I swatched everything, I fell in love. More and more with each paint pot and lippie swipe.
My only gripe is the packaging. There are stickers on everything and most of them are not even applied on very well, leading me to believe that soon, I will not be able to resist the urge to peel them all off. One of the reasons why you and I love these collections is because the packaging is so darn cute! But if they’re going to come off in a few weeks or even a few months, the novelty that is Fafi will wear away.. and I will be sad.
But for now, the joy of imagining how many makeup looks I can create with my ridiculous haul will be enough for me. Swatches of my purchase coming later when I have a chance to upload all the photos!

That’s funny because i was the exact opposite - I didn’t think I was going to really like too much of it because it’s so colorful. But when I swatched them, I realized that the colors were buildable and I started to fall in love.
