Fafi Week: Day 2 - Fafi Eyes 2 FOTD
My wardrobe is extremely basic. I have lots of blacks and grays that I wear all year ’round and only update my closet seasonally with a couple pieces of color here and there. So when I opened up my closet today - I immediately gravitated towards this green sweater that I only usually wear when springtime rolls around. And so, I let it became my inspiration for today’s FOTD.
I used Cash Flow as a base all over my lids and with every stroke of my brush - I fell more in love with paint pots. The texture is creamy and is super easy to apply onto my eyes.
I thought You’re Fresh in the Fafi Eyes 2 quad would complement my green sweater nicely, so I decided I’d try to use all of the colors in the quad to see what kind of look I could come up with.
As I mentioned in my Fafi haul post, I was a little scared of Shockwave, so I just used a little bit above my crease and on the outer third of my lids, careful to not make it too bright. I finished off with Bold As Gold as a browbone highlight and Prankster on my lower lashline. Prankster is really pretty and the texture is nice for a more matte shadow and I think I’m going to wear it tomorrow!
I really love the lip combo as well. It came out a pretty and girly pink shade and Sugar Trance adds just the perfect amount of shimmer to my pout. I think I’m going to need to snag a backup tube of the lipglass because it’s definitely becoming a favorite!
Eyes:
- Fafi Eyes 2 Bold As Gold (brow highlight)
- Fafi Eyes 2 Shockwave (outer lid, above crease)
- Fafi Eyes 2 You’re Fresh (all over lid)
- Fafi Cash Flow Paint Pot (base)
- Fafi Eyes 2 Prankster (lower lashline)
- Cover Girl Lash Blast in Black (2 coats)
Cheeks:
- Fafi Hipness
Lips:
- Fafi lipstick in Utterly Frivolous
- Fafi lipglass in Sugar Trance

Thanks Nancy!
I was really intimidated by Shockwave and I’m just glad I didn’t come out looking like a clown!
Thanks for stopping by again - did you pick up any new goodies from MAC?
Hope you’re having a great Tuesday

Hi Bliss,
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment! I’m definitely not a pro at applying eyeshadows - especially colors that aren’t the basic browns and grays. But, I love experimenting - do you sometimes try out new colors too?

Hey blue!
It’s super wearable to work. I made sure I didn’t over do it - I’m usually afraid of looking like a clown!

This came out so soft yet spunky in color! And you matched it beautifully with the green sweater! So cute.

Hey Mrs. Lynne!
Normally I don’t like matchy matchy, but I thought it would be kind of fun - and it was!
Hope you’re having a Happy Hump Day, the week is halfway over!!

I’m in love with that sweater; I have the same problem as you: my wardrobe consists of black and greys, punctuated with the occasional splash of white or cream. To me, Navy blue is what I would call colorful. I want to add more color to my wardrobe, and I think a lime green sweater is the way to go! You’re a style icon, gurl!

We still miss you girl, better come back soon. Or I’ll sick McCain on you - LOL
