From the Runway: ThreeAsFour
I love, LOVE the makeup at the ThreeAsFour runway show!! It’s so different and fresh, yet doesn’t come off as unattainable for the everyday woman.
Gordon Espinet of MAC explains that the the skin here doesn’t look powdery, sparkly or shiny, just simple and absolutely flawless. To complete the looks, Espinet brushed the models’ cheeks with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish blush for the appearance of “their faces on a cold day”. (The blush will be new from MAC later this year! credit: makeup loves me)
And for the eyes, we see dramatic looks that are not over-the-top. I love the innocence behind it with just a little bit of edge – you can’t have Fashion Week without edgy, of course! For this, apply MAC’s 20 lashes, globbed with Lash Primer, then dotted with MAC Fluidline in Royal Wink (a cobalt shade). Look for colored lashes to make a big splash in the fall – I’m definitely trying this!!

I like the make up on this model, not sure about the hair. The make up combination is simple (no heavey eye shadowws), but leaves the hint of play (colored mascara) and elegance (clear skin, perfect blush and delicate lips), I think you can pull this look Lilan!

I love the model’s lashes, but I think that either the cheeks or lips should have been left more neutral, when paired with those lashes. Too many elements are competing for attention, when really all eyes should be focused on those blue lashes (which look like something you could pull off for an evening out).
