From the Runway: Tuleh
Polly Osmond (who also did the makeup for Tuleh’s spring 2008 season last year) drew inspiration from Charlotte Rampling, a British attress from the 1970s for Tuleh’s fall/winter 2008 look.
We see strong, metallics on the eyes done with bronze pigment layered heavy (try , topped in the crease by a chocolate shadow.
Cheeks were shaded with MAC Emote and lips were kept neutral in pinky toffee colors from my new favorite N Collection – 4N lipstick with 2N lipglass.
It’s quite apparent that the eyes are going to be the center of attention for fall, with so many amazing variations – from glitter, to colored lashes, to metallics. At least this gives me six months to work on some techniques so that I can keep up with the beauty Jones’.

I love this look and I love, LOVE (no really, I do) Charlotte Rampling, but I’m not sure that it makes me think of CR. Even as far back as the 60s and 70s, she seemed to favor a more natural look. Can’t hate on that eyeshadow though; it lloks amazing!

I don’t know who Charlotte Rampling is, but the eyes for this show are really ARE amazing! My technique will never allow me to get this look, but I can always stare and dream, no??
Some of the other lips I’ve seen from the backstage photos are more pinky, this one is really nude but I wanted to show off those amazing eyes!

Hi Roxy,
Thanks for stopping by again! I’ve really been lusting over a lot of the looks on the runway this season. But alas, this is one I don’t think I can master. I’m kind of lazy when it comes to applying eye makeup and this is going to take me some time to do
Do you spend lots of time perfecting your eye makeup?
