shu uemura Spring 2008: REBIRTH
Just looking at this photo makes me want spring to arrive right now! It’s fresh, colorful, and so fun. I’m not a wearer of pastel colors on the regular, but shu uemura’s REBIRTH collection just evokes so much playfulness, I can’t help but be intrigued. You know, I can (and did) wear green eyeshadow too! And hopefully someday to this effect.
The colors in the collection are vibrant and refreshing. REBIRTH is aptly named after nature and the idea that everything is in bloom during the spring season - new, green and fresh from the winter.
REBIRTH is also the last collection that Mr. Uemura worked before his passing last December. The eyeshadows and blushes will feature a motif that he drew himself, signifying the budding growth of life during the spring season. This alone would make this a must-have collection for makeup addicts everywhere.

Hey there! Love your blog……awesome…esp. your FOTD…girl you have flawless skin!!
I just did the spray tan myself…(god I hate the smell) but don’t worry…I’ve done it a million times in my bathroom with the Neutrogena MIcromist and it hasn’t ever stained or anything like that…..so go for it!!!!

Hey Josi,
Thanks for stopping by!
I’m definitely going to try the spray tan in my bathroom, maybe even tonight with my trusty blow dryer by my side
Your tips are great and congrats on the blogging gig with Lianne!

I loooove shu uemura and I think the eye shadows are pretty cool but that tri color pen is TOO much. I wanted to buy it out of the coolness factor but when I tried it on at the store it’s like hellllooo clown!

Hey CityChic -
The tri-color pencil is actually what I want to try the most! But I agree, the colors do look intimidating. I hope if/when I try them, I won’t look like Bozo the Clown!
Hope you’re having a great day!
