The Mannings Prevail!!!!!

Super Bowl XLII is over and I’m bitter because now I don’t have anything to do on Sundays. But, on the bright side, the team I wanted to win, DID!! Go Giants! You rocked the Super Bowl for an amazing upset, 17-14.
The Giants made their way to victory in one of the most exciting 4th quarters I’ve seen all season. After a snoozer 1st – 3rd quarters with splashes of sacks and fumbles here and there, Eli Manning and team really delivered a final quarter that I could barely stand to watch – I cringed when Tom Brady threw that touchdown pass to Randy Moss; I really thought that my hopes for a non-perfect Patriots season was out of reach. I had my hands nearly covered over my eyes during each play, but low and behold, the New York Giants made a comeback in the final drive to upset the Patriots and I couldn’t be happier!!
So here’s to the Manning brothers – Peyton Manning was my quarterback in my fantasy football league this year and since the Colts weren’t able to go all the way, I rooted for his younger brother, Eli, and for the Giants to put a stop to the Patriots winning-streak madness.
Peyton, you did it last year and Eli, congratulations to you this year – back to back Super Bowl wins for the Manning brothers. Now you won’t have to quit football and start your DSRL Oreo league – yippee!!
