Bond No. 9 of the Week: Nuits de Noho

nuits-de-noho.jpg

One whiff of Bond No. 9′s Nuits de Noho and I knew I was in love. Second whiff of Nuits de Noho and I thought, “Hmm.. where have I smelled this before??” Ah yes, this lovely scent smells surprisingly similar to one of my favorites from all time – Thierry Mugler’s Angel.

Nuits de Noho is sweet (like a girl) yet seductive (like a woman). And I gotta say, to my amateur nose, I can’t smell the difference between this Bond No. 9 concoction and the lovely Angel, which I know has hints of delicious chocolate, patchouli, and vanilla. From the scent pyramid, it appears that Nuits de Noho share a few of the same notes.

Another friend of mine tried the Bond scent and had a few things to say about it, too:

I liked the combination of the somewhat unusual and spicy patchouli mixed with the slightly sweet vanilla and jasmine. This scent seemed a little bit untraditional and fun. I would definitely wear this again.

The Take-Off:
- Bergamot
- Mandarine
- Pineapple Leaves

The Heart:
- Jasmin
- Rosewood

The Bottom:
- Creamy Vanilla
- Sheer Patchouli
- Grey Musk

Nuits de Noho retails for $125 US for a 1.7 oz. bottle and is available now exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue stores nationwide, on Bond No. 9’s site and at their four New York boutiques. Or get the lovely Swarovski-studded bottle for a cool $325 US for 3.3 oz.
