MAC Beauty Powders Make Me Blush!

beauty-powder-promo2.jpg

I’ve been saying for quite a while now about how I need to beef up my blush collection. Especially now since spring and summer are approaching, I need fresh colors to brighten up my face!

MAC knew just what I needed and released their new Beauty Powder Blush collection just for me - okay, not exclusively for me, but you know how MAC just magically comes to the rescue at the right time, kinda like Spider Man!

These beauty powders come in eight limited edition shades and the collection also includes one limited edition Angled Blush Brush #169.

I’m really enjoying the textures of the beauty powders - they’re silky and fine. One thing I noticed is that they’re also pretty pigmented. Just one swipe gave me so much color, I had to blend some of it out so that I wouldn’t look like a clown. I’d apply with a light hand if I were you.

The four colors I have are:

Joyous, a peachy pink with gold pearl
Serenely, a rusty shade with gold pearl
Sweetness, a bright blue-pink
True Romance, a mid-tone pink with silver pearl

Additional colors in the Beauty Powder collection include:

Eversun
, Neutral peach bronze with gold
Feeling, Dirty plum with silver pearl
Secret Blush, Dirty neutral plum with gold pearl
Shy Beauty, Pastel apricot with gold pearl

Today’s FOTD was pretty simple, I wanted to just focus on the cheeks and lips.
