Make Me a Supermodel!

gray-is-in-for-spring.jpg

One spring beauty trend I read about in Allure’s February 2008 issue was soft, gray eyeshadow to create a softer alternative to the smoky eye. It’s really beautiful and a look that anyone can pull off easily. That’s right, we gals can pull off high fashion designer beauty looks right in our bathrooms too! ;)

To keep it subtle, I used one gray-tone shadow and applied Alum all over the lids and a highlight shade on the brow bone. Eyeliner is optional, but for me I used a black liner to make my eyes pop a little more and applied the silver-glittery end of the Heatherette Phone Me / Text Me dual pencil to the bottom waterline.

Get this look with MAC with some help from the Heatherette collection:

Eyes:
- Beige-ing shadestick
- Alum eyeshadow
- Modest Tone eyeshadow
- Phone Me/Text Me Dual Edge Eye Pencil (Heatherette)
- Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara in Black

Cheeks:
- Sweetness beauty powder blush

Lips:
- Benefit d’finer d’liner Invisible Lip Liner
- Style Minx lipglass (Heatherette)

I decided to finish my look with a fuschia lippie, a must to brighten up any foggy San Francisco day! And sorry for the uber-pale photo - the matching gray dress washed me out a little bit? Note to self, learn camera settings and adjust…
