I’ve been using Lumessence rejuvenating eye creme by Aubrey. Found it in the health food store. It’s moisturizing but not gooey.

Also Luxiva Triple Action Eye Gel by Merle Norman. I love it in the morning – it feels cool and refreshing yet it’s also moisturizing .

I’m embarrassed to admit that I’m not a regular wearer of eye creams – it’s so bad, I know.

However, I am testing out one eye serum right now from Estee Lauder – the Idealist Refinishing Eye Serum. So far, I’m liking it. I’ve been using it for a few days and some dryness around my eyes that I’m noticing are a little softer now. You can probably ask for a sample, the SA at my local counter did

I have been looking for a really good eye cream for a while now. I don’t want to buy something blindly so I’ve been reading reviews but I still feel like trying something will be a shot in the dark.

I have darkish circles, slight puffiness, and the area can tend to be somewhat dry. Any recommendations?

Hi Paula,

This is definitely an interesting statement. I am sort of new to reading ingredients on skin care labels and wasn’t even aware that there would be other aspects to consider – like how much is really effective or over-effective for your skin.

Everything that claims to be antioxidant is potentially anticarcinogenic and anti-aging, for antioxidants remove free-radicals that are both carcinogenic and pro-aging. It is just a matter of how it is delivered and how much the tissue can absorb. There’s still much controversy on how much skin can absorb substances like this and many others…
