Review: Elizabeth Arden Intervene Creme

intervene-pause-and-effect-cream.jpg

I have a weak spot for things that smell like peaches.

And like my beloved Origins’ Perfect World lotion and body cream, Elizabeth Arden’s Intervene Pause & Effect Moisture Cream ($55 US) smells wondrous like peaches to me.

I’ve been using this moisturizer for a couple of weeks now, and I gotta say, I’m really enjoying it!

Although, I hate products that come in jars (the sanitary issues, people – I’m sorry!) and this beautiful cream comes in a big, 1.7 oz jar. Oh well. Other than that, I think this Elizabeth Arden cream moisturizes well and sinks into my skin when I apply it with my fingers.

I can’t get enough of the divine smell and I’m just in love with it. The only thing I’d mention is that I would use this more when the weather or season is a little drier. The formula is slightly greasy – not enough to bother me, but I have to admit that it is. Nonetheless, when I work it into my face, it disappears right away and I can start with my makeup without any flaking or peeling like I get with some other products.

If your complexion is a little drier, I definitely think that this moisturizer with SPF 15 is one you should try.

How is your Thursday going so far? Mine is okay – I can’t wait for the weekend so that I can just relax and go to the mall to check out new makeup!! :D
