It’s April Fool’s Day! Has anyone played a trick on you yet?
Whether the answer is yes or no, we’ve all been fooled by beauty misconceptions at one time or another regardless of what day of the year it is. 
This month, I was invited to contribute to The Beauty Ideal, The Beauty Blog Network’s monthly web-zine, where we bust (or confirm) some popular beauty myths.

Great article! I’ve heard that LipFusion is really the only one that plumps as well. Unfortunately my lips can’t stand that stinging sensation so I tend to stay away from plumpers. Thanks for checking this out for us!

I actually find the stinging sensation kind of intriguing. I’ve been wearing my Lip Fusion all weekend and even though I can barely tell it’s plumping, it’s really fun for me to wear

CityLips night treatment has been the only one that has worked for me. I think it was even given the seal of approval from Good housekeeping.
It works by helping your lips keep in moisture which is really the key to plump full looking lips.
Keeping in mind that you can’t really go past your natural fullness without cosmetic surgery help.

I definitely agree that keeping hydrated is the key to looking plump – in a good way. If you don’t drink lots of water, your skin can look like it has wrinkles, making you look prematurely older. I have pretty full lips already, so I only noticed a slight difference. Not enough to make me purchase a $38 lip gloss again. Although, CityLips looks interesting enough for me to give it a try! Thanks for the tip – and fueling my beauty obsession
