Happy Friday Everyone! I hope you’re all getting ready to wind down from the work week and looking forward to the weekend – so how about a fun poll to kick things off?
For me, today’s makeup is:
Eyes – Laura Mercier Petite Eye Palette in Nightfall
Cheeks – Whatever was on my brush from the last couple of days (Rimmel and MAC Hipness, probably)
Lips – MAC Heatherette in Sock Hop lipglass and Lollipop Loving lipstick
Fragrance – Bond No. 9 Saks Fifth for Her
Nails – nothing yet!
Plans for the Weekend – undecided!! Any ideas for me??

I definitely won’t know Mariah Carey’s fragrance until I try it. But from what I’ve read on other blogs, it’s not all that bad! Celeb fragrances seem to have a bad rap but I agree, anything that smells like marshmallows can’t be all bad!
Are you doing anything fun this weekend? I was supposed to go to Lake Tahoe, but now I think I’m just going to lay low.

Prescriptives eye shadows are great! I love the shades in particular. I dont’ really get into eyeshadows much so I can’t caompare, but I like them. Just bought some really cheap on eBay, actually. No makeup for me today either, since I won’t be leaving the house!

I just checked out Venus on the Prescriptives website and it looks really pretty! A lovely everyday color – I think I’ll check them out soon. And thank you for reminding me about eBay! I keep forgetting that I might be able to find inexpensive makeup there
Have you tried shu uemura shadows? I love them, they’re nicely pigmented and super fine, making them easy to blend.

LOL, I was just having a super lazy day yesterday when I put on my makeup that I just did the neutral colors from the eye palette, whatever was on my blush brush and an easy coral lip. It was just one of those days!
How’s the weather where you are today? It’s super windy in San Francisco – gotta pile on the lip balm so that I don’t get cracked lips!

Other than the wind, it’s actually really crisp and gorgeous with lots of sun – kinda feels like a nice fall day.
The Boyfriend and I just came back from the movies and are just relaxing now – how was the rest of your weekend?
I went on a short shopping trip yesterday and picked up Clinique’s new Almost Powder Makeup I wrote about a couple weeks ago. They had a GWP and I needed a new powder so I thought, what the heck! Did you pick up any new goodies this weekend?

Rest of the weekend went well, going a little stir crazy with the weather though.
Bought some clothes online and did some MUA swapping…so my weekend went pretty well goodies wise!
I love a GWP too…can’t beat those!
