Treat Your Monday Blues with Chanel’s Gazelle
My Chanel goodies from last week’s Nordstrom beauty event finally arrived in my mailbox over the weekend and it couldn’t come fast enough. You know I totally ripped into the box and spilled those packing popcorns everywhere (whoops!), but that didn’t bother clumsy old me – my Gazelle lip gloss was finally here!
Gazelle is a gorgeous peach with shimmer, making it a perfect warm, summer shade. This is definitely one that I’m going to tote along with me wherever I go – maybe even to some tropical beach vacation.. when we go, that is 
Here’s a quick FOTD for ya, I’m not really diggin’ my eye makeup. I wanted to do a forest green eye, but was in such a rush this morning that it turned into a muddy mess – boo..
How’s your Monday coming along? Mine is a bit of a mess, the first day of the week is always harder for me coming off of a low-key weekend – you know how it is!

I actually like the eyemakeup, though in the photo, it looks smoke-grey, not forest green. We’ll call it ‘Forest Fire’ for now. Overall, the whole look is very polished and pulled-together.
My Monday is not so great. I feel ill (bit late in the year for a flu, though) and my throat is very sore. I hope it’s just a temporary bug.

The smoke gray is probably a result of too many colors, bad blending and a bad camera that doesn’t capture colors very well. I think that Forest Fire is an appropriate shade name for this

That’s actually what I really like about this color – it’s lovely enough to wear on it’s own when you just need a flash of color to run out the door. But it holds its weight when you wear it with a full on beauty look!

Aww, I’m sorry it’s been raining in your neck of the woods. It’s was a little chilly here but not too bad. At least the wind died down a bit. But, I think I saw on the news earlier that we’re going to get some sprinkles tomorrow (double boo)
