Whoa, Baby! It’s Hot in Herre!
These past two days made for one of the hottest weekends I could remember in a long time - especially for this time of year in Orange County. No matter what I wore (sun dress, short sleeves, and more short sleeves), I couldn’t get away from the heat!
Saturday was the hottest day of the weekend for my cousin’s baby shower. And poor girl, she’s very pregnant and the heat couldn’t have been comfortable for her. But there was plenty of food, baby shower games and friends and family there to keep her mind off of the heat. By the way, I’m pretty good at guessing how many M&Ms are in a full-sized baby bottle - ha! :)
Later that night, after trying to find a decent place to hang out without having to pay a cover fee, my friends and I ended up at Fred’s in Huntington Beach where things got pretty silly as we were dancing to old school Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, mixed in with a little new school hip hop 
Before I headed back to San Francisco this afternoon, I spent the morning with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins for my G-Pop’s birthday. My mom even flew in for the occasion making it a fun time with my whole family.
How was your weekend? Was it as warm where you are as it was in Orange County? Hopefully whatever the weather was like, you were having a good one!

It was warm here in the East Bay, much too warm for my liking…but I can’t complain about being able to sit outside at 7 PM! That was the upshot. Glad you had fun at your shower, and don’t you all look nice!

It wasn’t that warm here in NYC. We had a beautiful week, but when the weekend rolled around the warm air vanished! ahahahahahaha

It is quite rare to sit outside and not be freezing at 7pm! I personally like the warmer weather but I agree, sometimes it’s just too hot!

You know, I don’t have a sweet tooth so I’m not sure what’s in there. I do think that they are either almond or M&Ms. And you’re definitely right, if you’re going to do a pastel party favor, there’s no better way than to go with pastel almonds!!

Gosh, I remember when I visited my family in Vietnam long, looonngg ago that it was always the hottest when it rained. I was just a kid and really looked forward to the wet weather when it was so hot. Little did I know, it just got more humid! LOL
