Barbie Pink FHI Hair Dryer = Barbie-esque Perfect Hair

What Hair Looks Like Before the FHI Turbo Nano Weight Pro 1900

I love my hair. I love it because it’s thick. I love that it’s wavy. I love that I have lots of it. What I don’t love is the condition of my hair. I blow dry it. I flat iron it. I’ve bleached streaks for highlights. I’ve had dark brown, dark red and even light caramel highlights in my hair. My poor hair is over-processed, crunchy, dry and on most days—unmanageable!

For my hair’s sake, I’ve been trying to wean myself off of heat styling. If I don’t have a client meeting the next day, I will chance going to bed with my hair wet and hope that I wake up with volume instead of a crazy lion’s mane. Unfortunately, the result most mornings is the lion’s mane, not sexy bed head. So instead of risking another morning of hobo hair, I invested in a FHI Turbo Nano Weight Pro 1900 Hair Dryer. It was a major upgrade (in both price and quality) from my Remington D-2009 T-Studio Tourmaline Ceramic Hair Dryer.

My favorite thing about the Nano Weight Pro 1900 is the color. It comes in pink, black or pearl. I, of course, chose pink. The Barbie pink hue pretty much promises Barbie-esque hair. I’ve been using it for a month now and I am glad to report that the Nano Weight Pro does indeed deliver perfect doll hair. I’ve been using the same shampoo, deep conditioner and leave-in treatment regiment between the two dryers and the results has been dramatically different post-Nano Weight. I am not exactly sure what and how the technology works—whether it is the Nano Fuzeion Technology (Nano Ti + Nano TiO2 + Nano Ag) or little elves blowing magic dust—but the results have been freaking amazing! My two roommates can attest!

The hair dryer is extremely lightweight, making it easier to maneuver a brush and the dryer around my head. The dryer comes with both concentrator and diffuser nozzles, with an extra long cord so I can walk around my room, blow drying my hair while balancing both a round brush the dryer at a temperature most comfortable for my scalp. Although the box says that it would “reduce drying time by 50%”, I didn’t really notice that much time saved—but it could be because I have a lot of hair. The result is a noticeably shinier, smoother and fluffier head of hair than I used to get from my Remington T-Studio.

Imagine Glorious Locks After the Magic of FHI Turbo Nano Weight Pro 1900

The Nano Weight 1900 is pricey and retails for $195 (but you can find it online for less). It’s a more wallet-friendly alternative to the $300 Bespoke T3 Evolution Dryer that I’d also been eyeing. If anyone owns the T3 dryers, please share your review! If you’d like to try the Nano Weight 1900 for considerably less than the sticker price, you can find them at Misikko online.
