Katanah Allen Has Arrived!!

When I got the call yesterday morning at 9:30am from my cousin’s cell phone, I knew immediately what I was about to hear - that she was going to have her baby! And from what she said, our new little god daughter was really anxious to get out and start making her imprint on the world.
Three hours later, I got another call and was delighted to hear that Katanah had arrived at a whoppin’ 8 pounds 1 ounce and 20 3/4 inches! Both mommy and baby are healthy and doing well! I’m just sad to be up in San Francisco and not in Orange County to spend time with my cousin and new god daughter. Hopefully I will very soon!!

You can’t even begin to imagine the insanity of my cousin and the naming of her children. Her first born is named Paetyn - she’s gonna have trouble spelling her name for the next 10 years, easy!
If they have another boy, I’m going to vote for Raiden. My boyfriend, the god father, votes the same.. maybe next time we’ll have a contest for name the baby!!

Actually, I’m kinda rooting for ‘SubZero’, at this point; IDK, he was my favorite character in the Mortal Kombat series. Kitanna was a close second, though.
That said, homegirl is going to need eyebrows if she wants to intimidate the other fighters. Best draw some on now -in the shape of a frown- so folks know she means business.

As for the eyebrows, that might be from her mom’s side - my cousin has drawn in her brows for as long as I can remember. Who knows what they really look like? Maybe to go with her samurai sword, we’ll be getting her some eyebrow products Auntie Mandy recommends!
