MAC Cool Heat Collection and Giveaway!
Alas, another MAC collection to put us in frenzy - full of brilliant blue shadows and hot summer pinks and corals for lips, it’s appropriately called Cool Heat. What a great collection to turn up the heat on your summer look, yes? Keep reading below for your chance to win a couple items from this HOT collection!
I love that blues are making a comeback and my favorite of this set is most definitely Blue Flame, a dark metallic blue that’s gonna make me a hot smoky eye. I know I said I was gonna rock it earlier this week but I’ve been having one of those lazy makeup weeks.

By Degrees a great everyday neutral pink, but not a standout for me
Gentle Summer a nude shade of peach, perfect for layering lip shades
High 90’s this one is scary looking in the tube, I’m talkin’ super orange, but turns out to be a nice coral for summer
Swelter a fun red-orange, but not one that can work for everyone’s skin tone

Warm Chill a nice seafoam green that I rocked immediately last week!

Next to High 90s, Tropic Glow is another decent SS shade in this collection. I dunno, MAC collections don’t always seem to wow me, except for one or two products with each release, if that. Their permanent stuff never gets the recognition it deserves.

Ha, its pretty funny since I’m not that huge of a MAC fan. I adore my MSFN and Studio Fix, and I’d love to try the slimshines [if only they had SPF], but I actually find all the collections annoying, because its sort of an excuse for women to spend money on something they may already have in their arsenal.
And my weekend, although a little restless, has been quite pleasant. We’re finally settling into a new home and the family is really enjoying the newfound space. Good luck with that carrot cake, doll!

It’s definitely hard to keep up with all the MAC releases and I really just buy what I know I don’t have. Well, not entirely true - I cave at just about any pink lip gloss they have but I’m pretty good at having the will powder to say no to shadows and such - LOL!

Oy, you have no clue. I’m trying to find some decent containers to stash all my makeup in! Otherwise I don’t have a drawer to store pants in! Plus, we needed the extra room for my one year old brother! He’s a vivacious little thing.
Ah, my favourites have to be Urban Decay and Cargo…hands down. I have a newfound respect for DuWop as well! Their TM has literally saved my life.
