Straighten Up with a Corioliss Pro Flat Iron
For all you ladies with wavy hair, going from curly to straight is super easy with the Corioliss Pro Flat Iron!
The other day, I asked my friend Elizabeth if I could do her hair with my new flat iron just to see how she liked it. Elizabeth flat irons her blonde locks everyday so I thought, who better to give me an honest review on the Corioliss than her.
She came in with her hair in its natural, slightly wavy state - which I always call “crazy curly” (sarcastically, of course) because I rarely see her in with anything other than stick-straight hair. We plugged in the flat iron and let it heat up for 3 - 5 minutes before we started to straighten her hair.
The Corioliss Pro Flat Iron is extremely easy to use. Elizabeth has long hair that’s relatively thick so I started from the bottom in sections and worked my way up in three layers to get every strand. With this technique, we were able to finish in a flash in under 15 minutes.
While she was happy with the results we achieved, I wanted to get her true opinion on the product so I gave her the flat iron to use over the weekend and report back what she thought. Overall, Elizabeth likes the Corioliss flat iron over her regular Infiniti by Conair straightener. It’s lighter than what she’s normally used to. She was also able to cut some of her styling time in the mornings, but not by a significant amount, and it appeared to be less damaging to her locks, too.
So what do you think of Elizabeth’s before and after? I think the results speak for themselves, ya? You can get your own Corioliss Pro Flat Iron on Misikko.com for a fraction of its regular price - a cool $125 vs. $200 US and get Free 2-Day Shipping, too!

I am in a look for a good ceramic flat iron!!! Asked my friend to help me buy one but i was told I may not be able to use it here in Asia. But this one is AMAZING!!! Though your friend honestly looks good even without straightening her hair! I love both looks and its a big big change!

I like her hair better wavy … although as a curly girl, I am biased. The back pic looks so much more healthy when it is wavy. It looks like a good straightener though ….

Hi Nikki,
Is there a reason you can’t have ceramic flat irons in Asia? Seems to be unfair!
I really think she looks great with wavy hair too - I’ll be sure to tell her
Happy Tuesday! Hope the weather’s nice there - it’s been just perfect here in San Francisco!

Hi Critty,
I personally love Elizabeth with wavy hair too! It seems to be much easier to go from curly to straight than the other way around. When I had long hair it was such a pain to try and curl it - I’m just not savvy when it comes to styling
Are you good at styling hair? I need some pointers!

Oh dear, we have it here in Asia, but I’ve found there are more choices there at Ulta.com! LOL We have the regular ceramic iron but i want choices on those you can use for wet to dry hair, and those with timers..blah blah..i’m a techie Beauty girl! LOL

Ah Nikki, you certainly ARE a beauty tech! This flat iron doesn’t have heat settings, although I wish it did because it’s so expensive! But there are other perks like weight and efficiency - are there any on Ulta.com that you’re lemming right now?

Yes! I’m lemming to much at the Ulta!! Flat iron! and a lot of cosmetics that are on sale that I just want to “be there” and buy! LOL

Oh Nikki, you would hate me! I work just a couple of miles from Ulta - we go there on our lunch breaks sometimes! I just picked up a few items last Friday

I love her both looks, but it def. smoothed out her hair well. Although I agree that she looks great with it wavy.! : )
BTW Ulta is addicting. Especially when you can use a coupon and your Ulta Rewards (or bucks…whatever they’re called) and get something for crazy cheap! : )

Hi Jennifer,
Ack! We need to go on an Utla run together. I love that they have all the new drugstore products since my nearest Rite-Aid never has anything fun
Happy Thursday, hope you had a great week so far!
