Don’t Miss Out: Lancôme’s Ôscillation Mascara

Lancôme is pre-releasing their hot, new mascara for one day only this Thursday, July 31st, at select locations. Ôscillation is the new kid on the block as the first vibrating mascara. Can you believe that all you have to do is push a button and you could obtain lengthy, luscious, and defined lashes?
Ôscillation has a battery-operated brush that works to provide 7,000 micro-oscillations per minute. Sounds scientific but you’re probably wondering, “How does it work?” Application on this is pretty gosh-darn simple - hold the button on the wand to start the oscillation action and apply in straight, smooth strokes rather than in a zig-zag motion. What you’re left with are gorgeous, glossy lashes that are sure to make your man come hither at the bat of an eye.
Now that you know what it is, run out to the following locations and pick up your Ôscillation mascara ($34 US), available while supplies last on July 31st only. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait for it’s official national launch in the fall — can you really wait that long?

Atlanta: Macy’s at the Lenox Square Mall
Brea: The Lancôme Boutique at the Brea Mall

This sort of scares me. What if I poke my eye out?

Hi Marisol,
I’d imagine that this would be a really weird mascara experience, too!
What’s your favorite mascara right now?

While this sounds cool (we all know that slightly jiggering the brush while applying ensures a more defined application), I’m wondering if the 7-8 seconds total we would spare “vibrating” our brush against our lashes is really worth the extra ten or so bucks.
Survey says? Probably not, but it’s still pretty cool. : )

Hi Hansoul,
$34 is quite a price tag for mascara but if you’re into gadgets, this one could be a fun one! I’m still on the fence myself, we’ll just have to see how I feel about it tomorrow when the sale goes down!
What mascara are you currently using? I’ve been using the Ceramide mascara from Elizabeth Arden lately.

My HG mascara is Dior’s DiorShow but its a bit pricey so when I don’t want to spend $22 on a mascara, I will use CG LashBlast or MAC’s PlushLash.

That thing freaks me out . I can only imagine you’d feel this weird tickling sensation on your lashes when using this.

Hi Marisol,
I only tried DiorShow once when I was getting a makeover. I wasn’t totally sold on it but that was probably because someone else applied it on me.
My favorite drugstore one is L’Oreal Original Voluminous and Lash Blast (I wished the tube was skinnier!).
Hope you’re having a good day — I’m really looking forward to lunch right now!

Hi Mandy,
I’m more intrigued than scared of this mascara. The only thing that really scares me is the friggin’ price tag!
I don’t think I can bite the bullet and buy one today

Thanks Amanda,
Are you planning on getting one for yourself?
Hope your day is going well!
