Get ‘Daring’ for Fall with Prescriptives

daring-promo.jpg

Fall collections are starting to pop up as we begin to countdown the last weeks of summer. With that, I have to admit that I’m really likin’ this model for Prescriptives’ Daring collection for fall. Doesn’t she look a lot like Cindy Crawford, one of my favorite supermodels from the late 80s and 90s?

This is definitely a trend that I’m noticing with this season’s makeup - a throw back to haute 80s makeup with deep browns emphasized on the eyes and early 90s matte (check out MAC’s Cult of Cherry coming soon!)

Prescriptives’ Daring dares you to go soft and neutral this season with touches of blue sapphires and violet amethysts accents. Don’t peep this collection without going home with this limited edition Fall Dimensions Cheeks & Eyes Palette ($35 US).

Although it says for Eyes, I personally think that the shades are too light to use as shadows. I definitely think this palette is more appropriate and would be wonderful as a highlighter for the face and cheeks. And in case you hadn’t noticed, the textured packaging makes this a must-have for the season!

If you live in the San Francisco area and want to nab one for yourself, enter for a chance to join my friends and I at The Daily Cookie’s one year anniversary party at Lavande Nail Spa on August 30th - one of these pretty palettes will be tucked away in the goodie bags that go home with each guest!
