MAC Cult of Cherry Friday Look of the Day
Happy Friday girls!
I’ve been staring at the clock all morning, waiting for the minutes to go by until I get to leave for my camping trip (one more hour!). So until then, I thought I’d bring you a First Look Fridays sneak peak at what I’m wearing today from the new MAC Cult of Cherry collection.
Tempting Eyes Quad is right up my alley with rich earth tones that I’m totally diggin’. Dark Edge, the dark brown matte shade, is a repromote from my favorite N Collection. Only I think this one’s better; the texture seems silkier and was much easier for me to apply and blend on my eyes than my Dark Edge in the stand alone pot. Today, I’m wearing this quad as a soft, smoky brown eye sans Sharp – the dirty yellow-green shade (not in a bad way!) Check it out as the predominant color on the model above.
Next up, on my lips is Jampacked lipglass, a pretty, grapey color with flashes of subtle shimmer. This is one that you can definitely layer for a more sheer or pigmented look. I’ve coat one healthy coat on today and I’ve already gotten three compliments on this lippie! I think this one will definitely go into my regular makeup bag for fall!
The entire Cult of Cherry collection is definitely full of dramatic flair, with vampy colors to fulfill your need for deeper colors this fall after all the sheers and bronzes from summer. Stay tuned because I’ve got more sneak peaks from this collection coming up next week, including rich eggplant colors for your lips and nails, and a va va vavoom red that’ll knock your socks off!!

I’ve been looking at the Spiced Chocolate Quad of eye shadows, because of the colors Nanogold and Sweet Chestnut. In the lipglasses, I’m really enamored by Cult of Cherry and Jampacked, which you just showed us and looks lovely! I also think I’ll like Rapturous, Kirsch and Bing in the Mattenes.
