Shimmering Nudes from Bobbi Brown
For the past couple of days, on the days I’ve been wearing makeup anyway, I’ve been super obsessed with the gunmetal gray smoky eye and pairing it with a mod-inspired pink lip. My pink lippie of choice? Bobbi Brown’s Creamy Lip Color in Crystal Pink.
Now, to my utter excitement Bobbi Brown is releasing her new Creamy Lip Color ($22 US) formula (first debuted earlier this year) in four new colors for the Shimmering Nudes Collection in Baby, Pink Sequin, Pink Buff, and Sunset Nude - woot!
And as if that weren’t enough, she’s coming out with a new Shimmering Nudes Palette ($50 US) with seven eye shadow shades you can mix and match to create a the perfect nude look with just a touch of glam thrown in.
Gear up for a beautifully gray fall with Bobbi Brown’s new Shimmering Nudes Collection, on counters beginning September 2008.
PS - If you read Makeup and Beauty Blog and enjoy her FOTDs, doesn’t this model bear a striking resemblance to Miss Karen? I certainly think so!!

Hi Marie,
While I love me some Bobbi, I think you’ve got to pick up a Cult of Cherry quad - it just wouldn’t be right if you didn’t, LOL! I like Shadowy Lady and Tempting!! Which one were you going to pick up?

She totally resembles Karen.
I really like this palette. I don’t need this palette…. I WANT IT!

Hi Nikki,
If you like bolder colors then Bobbi Brown might not be for you since she really specializes in the natural looks. I do, however, love the formulas of her shadows and the Gel Liners are awesome!!

Hi Marisol,
I have a huge thing for palettes - it’s so easy to travel with and is especially helpful for me when I want to match colors. Chock it up to laziness, but - as Martha Stewart would say - makeup palettes are a good thing

Hi Karen B,
What are you studying in college? Sometimes I wish I were in school again
This would be a good palette for you since you can mix and match colors - it would last you a while too!

Hi Ashley,
What are your favorite BB products? I think hands down I love the gel liners. I only wish they came in more colors

Hmm… My favourite would be the creamy concealer kit! Sometimes when I’m too lazy to apply foundation, I just use the ivory and it blends in very well - you can’t really notice the dark under eyes and it matches my skin tone.

Hi Karen B,
Wow, congrats you are almost done!! Do you hope to teach theater next year? That would be so cool; I love watching plays and musicals!

Hi Ashley,
Ooo, I’ve never tried their concealer before since I don’t really wear much of it. Have you tried Laura Mercier’s Secret Camouflage? I hear it’s a really great one!

No I mean studying theatre and drama ^^
But teaching drama would be something I’d consider later on.

Hi Elizabeth,
Happy Labor Day! Did you do anything fun this weekend? It’s so gorgeous in SF today
This palette is really pretty to me - I’m lovin’ the grays for fall and am on the lookout for a pewter gray to add to my collection!

I’ve never really taken any drama classes when I was in school, Karen B. Is drama your favorite genre? I would love to try a comedy skit since I can’t sing well enough to be in a musical
