Weigh-In: Week 4

week-4-weigh-in.jpg

No gain, no loss - I’m content.

I’m definitely not surprised by this at all since I didn’t try that hard to improve my eating habits or resist the urge to not eat 3 bagels with cream cheese in 3 days. If you know me, you know that these are one of my favorite foods on the planet. When I went to Noah’s last week to get some bagels to treat my team at work last Friday - I couldn’t help but eat two that day in order for me to save lunch money and then take the extra onion bagel that was left over home to eat on Sunday for brunch. What the heck was I thinking?? Granted, I didn’t consume as much of Noah’s low-fat whipped shmear as I normally would.

Just that alone sabotaged any chance I had a losing even 1/2 a pound. Oh well. Now I just won’t get to treat myself with a bagel until September - sound fair? ;)

On the bright side, I did keep up my end of the bargain as far as the activity goal I set for myself. On Sunday, my friends and I went to the local high school and played tennis (sort of) for about 2.5 hours. This was a pretty good workout for me, chasing tennis balls and whacking them as hard as I could over the net.

This weekend I’m going camping so I’m going to try to get in a nice hike and then hang out and fish with the Boyfriend and our friends. Hopefully we won’t be eating too much junk since I requested fruits instead of Oreos on the menu for our 3-day outing :)

Now for the food diary. Note that I didn’t write in this every day so I couldn’t remember what I snacked on (probably pretzels and plain croutons when I craved crunchy). Maybe you have a tip - when you crave savory, crunchy things, what do you tend to snack on besides chips?
