Fall Scents: Jo Malone Sweet Lime & Cedar
This fall, Jo Malone introduces a new fragrance to their line up with Sweet Lime & Cedar cologne. Inspired by Thai cuisine and its abundance of flavors from fruits, flowers and herbs, you would expect that this scent would smell more like my favorite curry or noodle dish than a sophisticated cologne.
However, I’m wearing this today and it smells wonderfully exotic and spicy with floral notes and hints of aromatic leaves that remind me of what the rural areas and food of Thailand would smell like – kaffir lime, coconut, ylang ylang, coriander, cedarwood, and tamarind… mmmm.
While I love sniffing this scent from the bottle, it just doesn’t bode well for my skin as I think it smells a little more spicy and woodsy than fragrances I enjoy wearing. However, I do think that the Boyfriend would smell great wearing this Sweet Lime & Cedar cologne so I’m going to leave this for him and hope that he’ll wear it next time we’re out.
If you want to try Jo Malone Sweet Lime & Cedar cologne ($55 – $100 US), stop by Bergdorf Goodman, select Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue stores, or shop online at www.jomalone.com.

I love Jo Malone. I bought my mom a bottle of the Orange Blossom scent and fell in love with it that I had to get one for myself.
The collection is so sweet and innocent and fresh.

Hi Jeannie,
I love that all the scents are nice and fresh that anyone can really wear! Have you tried layering Orange Blossom with other Jo Malone lotion scents? They design their collections to work well with other collections, too!

Hi Marisol,
I’ve whiffed a couple scents from Jo Malone and all are pretty nice! All the colognes are unisex so some are a little more musty and masculine than I prefer, but still really fresh and clean nonetheless
