I'm pretty fair as well and have no desire to be whiter! LOL! I would definitely recommend this product for drier complexions or for use in the winter when the skin needs more hydrating. For me, this is great to use in the non-summer months when skin is duller and is in need for moisture. If you have oilier skin, I might not recommend this for daily use - maybe every other day to keep a balance. If you have super oily skin, I'd go to your Shu counter and ask for a sample to see how it works for you before buying a full bottle. The texture before you emulsify it with water is definitely oily, since it technically is an oil. But the final result after I rinse is really nice - soft like a baby's bottom! Other than this, you may have heard me rave about La Mer Foaming Cleanser which might be great for your skin type. It's nice for every skin type. This product comes with a pretty hefty price tag, but I've been able to stretch it out by using it every other day (alternating between my Shu cleansing oil). If you're on a budget, try out iQ Derma Daily Renew Refreshing Cleanser.
