Nails of the Week: OPI Royal Rajah Ruby
Whenever I get my nails done, I always get an itch to do dark colors. At my mani/pedi event last Saturday, I definitely gave in and got my toes and tips painted in OPI’s Royal Rajah Ruby while some of my other friends opted for lighter summer shades like fuschia and yellow.
I just love this color and have been lovingly gazing at my nails every chance I get – the shade is so rich and the burgundy shimmer it gives off is amazing. It’s been 4 days since my mani and they’re still as good as new without any chips, yay!
What nail color(s) are you wearing this week? I’ve been saying this for months but I really want to find a lovely pewter gray to wear for the fall

That looks fab!
I coloured my hair (pics in the Feria post) but I’m going to the hairdresser’s tomorrow. Not that it’s ugly but I don’t want to go to school with it having a pinkish tint…

I wore China Glaze’s Lubu Heels (black lacquer with red glitter) for the entire time I was at the convention this past weekend. However, last night I took that off and painted my nails with China Glaze’s Frostbite, followed by China Glaze’s Tempest, for some vivid blue-violet color. I’m very happy with it
Your nails look lovely.

you managed to capture the ‘ruby’ of this color so well. i’ve been wearing it for the last two weeks (getting my nails done TOMORROW!).. i liked it, but it always looked more brown to me than the exotic ruby in person =/ it took a lot to convince my friends it had red sparkles in it “but kia,it’s really brown” =p

Hi Decorative Diva,
The black with red glitter sounds kind of awesome!! Is it chunky glitter? Or more like a shimmer?
I haven’t worn blue colors in a long time – maybe not since Blue Satin from Chanel back in the spring!

Hi Kia,
I hear ya – sometimes it does look so dark that it could pass for brown but this color definitely has red in it, no need to convince me! LOL
What color are you getting for tomorrow? I love manicures!!

Ooo, French manicures! I love how lady-like and classic they look. I haven’t had a French in a very long time but I think your comment will inspire me for the next time I go get my nails did
Hope you’re having a great Thursday!

I always use pink-ish hue on my nails, especially during Summer. For Fall I like to go darker red/brown and Royal Rajah Ruby is a color I’d definitely try. Thanks for sharing.
Right now my nails are naked since I’m letting it “breathe” for a few days before I get my mani/pedi this Saturday =)
