NY Fashion Week: Nicole Miller
Some of my favorite fashion and beauty sites as well as hot blogs have been buzzing for the past few days about NY Fashion Week happening right now at Bryant Park in Manhattan. There have been dozens and dozens of shows so far and we’re only half way through! I peaked around Glam.com and Style.com today and found some of my favorite beauty looks from the runway so far.
I’m loving the sultry, plum eyes from the Nicole Miller show from Day 1. With a little help from the folks at MAC Cosmetics, you can recreate your own look that makeup artist James Kaliardos dubbed is “like a soulful voodoo girl – a girl who can cast spells.”
Start with MAC eye shadow in Sketch, applied liberally at the crease. Fan the color down to your lids and up towards the brow bone, as well as on the lower lashline at the outer corners. Use Technakohl liner in Auto-de-Blu to smudge color to the lower waterline for a pretty contrast. Finish off your Nicole Miller look with MAC lipstick in Blankety and top it with a sheer coat of C-Thru lipglass for a pretty pink pout.
