NY Fashion Week: Threeasfour

nyfw-spring-2009-threeasfour_gtl.jpg

Any girl who knows me, knows that I love wearing barely there makeup – it’s fuss free, demurely gorgeous, and still keeps the Boyfriend on his toes.

With that said, it’s no surprise that I was totally diggin’ the beauty look from the Threeasfour show on Day 2 of NY Fashion Week happening right now in Bryant Park!

MAC makeup artist Gordon Espinet envisioned the look to be “a fresh face with a hint of coral – a girl who is too young to wear makeup.”  While I completely agree that this is the perfect look for those gosh-darn teenagers, I definitely wouldn’t rule it out for myself either.  The Threeasfour beauty look for Spring 2009 is a perfect one to open up a new season with!  I’ll definitely be stocking up on corals next year!

Get the look with these simple products and tips – MAC Brow Set to create a textured brow against the otherwise naked eye.   Keep your face minimal by only applying sheer amounts of foundation where you absolutely need it.  Use a brush like MAC’s 188 Small Duo Fibre Face Brush to stipple a cream blush to the cheeks.  Here, Gordon uses Rich Coral or Virgin Isle Cream Colour Base – it’s lovely, ya?

Finally, give your lips just a flush of color with Tinted Lip Conditioner with SPF 15 in Gentle Coral.  Apply it to the center of the lips and blend!
