Chanel Holiday 2008 Collection
I’ve barely had a chance to wrap myself around the fall makeup collections and now holiday is popping up everywhere!
One collection that I’ve heard a bit of buzz about is Chanel’s Holiday 2008 goodies featuring Haute Chocolat nail polish – it appears that this is to die for from All Lacquered Up. I must pick up a bottle at the mall today if I can find some time between driving from Orange County to Beverly Hills and back in the middle of the day (eep!)
The rest of the collection ain’t too shabby either – it’s got everything this neutral-lovin’ gal would want in a collection. Lots of wearable browns and golds in the Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow in Beiges de Chanel. It boosts hints of shimmer in each shadow to give it some oomph to break the monotony of wearing subtle shades.
There is one lippie that I’m dying for from Chanel Holiday 2008 – you guessed it: a glossimer in Red Shine! Red Shine is a limited edition gloss packs a real punch as a sheerer red with flecks of (you guessed it) gold.
Ladies, there you have it – my favorites from this holiday collection. Does anything catch your eye so far? If not, check out the rest of the line up for this Chanel offering, at a counter near your beginning this month.

Hey Nikki,
Ya there are always so many that it’s insane to keep up!
I’m doing pretty good considering I’m not working at the moment. It gave me some time to travel to Orange County to spend three whole weeks with my friends and family – woot!
What’s new with you, chica?

I’m loving the gold shimmer powder; I’m soooo tempted to buy that, but the women who work the Chanel counter scare the living daylights out of me. They glare at me whenever I hover over any one product too long, so I never have a chance to try anything.

Hi Nikki,
Yay, a vacation for you! I’ve never been to Shanghai and I want to go to so many places in Asia, I hope I get to it someday!
I’m never in the Christmas spirit until Thanksgiving rolls around, but I saw your special UD post. If I got one of those, it would feel like early Christmas too!

Hey Marisol,
Ya, there’s never enough money! LOL
If you had to pick one collection, just one, which one would you pick?

Hi Mandy,
What’s up with you and powders, girl?!
The ladies at my Chanel counter are actually pretty pleasant. Although when it comes to making my selections, they’re pretty motherly and always try to coerce me into other things that they think are better for me.
