Nothing Like Haute Chocolat on a Warm Day
On Saturday I went shopping at Fashion Valley mall in San Diego with my aunt and told myself I couldn’t forget to pick up Chanel’s new Haute Chocolat nail color from their new Holiday 2008 collection.
Even at $20 a pop, I couldn’t resist picking up this molten brown shade with pretty flecks of golden goodness. Today’s warm Santa Ana winds kept me indoors but didn’t make me wish for a cup of hot cocoa. Instead, it sure did stir up a little lusting for some warm chocolaty goodness on my tips after a week of sporting Orly’s Mandalay Ruby red hot creme color from their fall Gems Collection.
I’ve never owned a brown before and now I’m looking forward to collecting more!

Sony is supposed to be expediting the parts that my laptop needs and hopefully it will be fixed by Friday. I’ve been without ‘my’ machine since last Monday night, which is far too long!

I’m rather lucky in the sense that my machine is my work and personal machine (I used to use my personal machine for work stuff, so when my laptop died, my boss bought me a new one), and very lucky that he had an old machine I could use. Without one, I wouldn’t be getting any work done, so he likes to keep back up machines around.
It just, yeah, it feels like I’m sleeping in a hotel bed. It’s nice, but I’d rather be home.
