Spotlight: Estee Lauder Pink Ribbon Collection & Weekend Reads from BBN

el-bca-collection.jpg

Happy Sunday, everyone!  Usually, today I’m all about the football but I’m up early and wanted to share with you the Estee Lauder Pink Ribbon goodies for Breast Cancer Awareness Month I saw at Bloomingdale’s yesterday while shopping with my little cousin.

This year, Estee Lauder created two lip collections after the women behind the Lauder name, Evelyn Lauder, and Elizabeth Hurley – Estee Lauder’s long-time spokesperson.

The Evelyn Lauder lipstick collection ($22 US) comes with three of her favorite shades: (l-r) Bali Rose (LE), Candy, and Rich Berry.  This set is sold out online but you can still find a few sets left in stores.

If you’re more of a gloss kind of girl, then check out the Elizabeth Hurley lip gloss collection ($16 US) featuring her favorite shades of High Gloss: (clockwise from top left) Pearl, Pink (LE), and Rose.  I also really love this collection because you get a nice variety of shades to mix and match with more of my already abundant lip collection.  But hey, anything for a good cause, right?

When you purchase any item from the Pink Ribbon Collection, it will help Estee Lauder donate $500,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Fund, an organization that Evelyn Lauder founded.

Stop by your local Estee Lauder counter and check out these goodies and slso don’t forget that for every Comment you make on this post, or any other BCA-related stories I feature during the month of October, I will personally donate $1 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure*.

Now I’ve got to get ready for the car ride back to Orange County.  Hopefully my uncle won’t mind catching the Raider-Saints game on the radio on the way back.  While I’m on the highway,  why don’t you check out some of this week’s pretty reads from The Beauty Blog Network?
