Clairol Natural Instincts Hair Color Giveaway!
Lots of you are probably getting ready for the celebrating season, picking out your favorite products to help you look your absolute best at all of those holiday parties this year.
One thing that’s super important is your hair and to help you make things a little easier on you, the folks at Clairol have given me an opportunity to host a sweepstakes for you with Natural Instincts demi-permanent hair color. This means that you can try out any color you want to and know that it won’t stay permanent and will wash out in 28 shampoos if you don’t love it.
What’s better is that Clairol Natural Instincts wants you to choose what color you win so that you can go out with your best look this season. With three different lines, Natural Instincts, Golden Shimmer, and Brass-Free you are sure to find a shade you love from 36 total colors to choose from on their website.
To help you select a shade, check out these great hair coloring tips from Jason Backe, Clairol’s Color Director:
Q: How do I pick the right shade?A: Shade selection can be tricky but if you follow my simple guidelines you’ll have your perfect shade in no time!
- Pink complexion/light eyes: Stay cool, unless you want to become a copper red head
- Tan skin/light eyes: Go beachy and golden
- Olive skin/dark eyes: Go with cool brunettes or reds with a blue/violet tone
- Medium skin tone/dark eyes: Go golden, if you are going red, try copper or cool colors
- Dark skin/Dark eyes: Go for anything but yellow. You can pull off sandy blondes, copper or blue based red shades and just about any shade of brunette – you can do a lot just stay away from the golden blondes
Now that you know what to look for, fill out the entry form below with your shade preference from November 10th – 14th, 11:55 PM EST for your chance to win. Ten lucky winners will be selected to receive Natural Instincts hair color! Good luck!

Exciting! The pretty fall leaves have made me want to go red, but I’m nervous! The colors look very subtle and nice though, not totally fire engine. Fingers crossed!

They have some pretty colors!
Blackberry, Roasted Chestnut, Nutmeg, Hot Cocoa, Egyptian Plum, and Sunflower are ones I find pretty.
Though I’ve mostly been doing my own hair color with stuff from Sally’s or going to see my stylist for color. The past 2 times I’ve let my stylist color my hair. I’m not sure what he used for my dark warm brown shade, but I know the purple is Pravana’s Colorsilk Vivids.
I think I used to use Clairol and L’Oreal when I first started dyeing my own hair.

I submitted an entry for the Dark Auburn, I’ve always wanted to see what a reddish shade might do for my medium brown hair.
It will wash out eventually, what doesn’t can be colored over time.
