Philosophy Amazing Grace Perfumed Buffing Wash

philosophy-amazing-grace-perfumed-buffing-wash.jpg

When it’s cold outside or when I want to relax before bed, I love taking hot showers.  For me there’s nothing more soothing than the warmth and steam for my 20 minutes of me time.

But just when I thought those showers couldn’t get any better, I discovered Philosophy Amazing Grace Perfumed Buffing Wash ($26 US), one of the newest products to be added to Philosophy’s popular Amazing Grace line.

For me, Amazing Grace Perfumed Buffing Wash is a little bit of luxury in a bottle.  It smells wonderfully demure and dainty, like a grown up version of Johnson’s baby wash.  With tiny micro beads in the formula, it also helps to exfoliate my skin.  However, even if used on a regular basis, I wouldn’t get rid of my regular scrub as the exfoliants in this buffing wash are so fine.

It grabs hold of all of my senses and is my favorite bath product right now in the middle of the winter season.  But at $26 a pop, I can’t afford it for use on a daily basis, making it a true luxury to only use it on those really cold days.

What do you think of Philosophy Amazing Grace Perfumed Buffing Wash?  Are there any other products you love that I should know about to keep me feeling warm and fuzzy this season?  Let’s share!

Happy Anniversary, Babe!

Today is our 6th year anniversary and now that we’re an old couple, we’re keeping it low-key this year and are just going to head out for a fun dinner tonight at Circa in San Francisco.

The restaurant’s executive chef is Erik from Season 4 of Top Chef and we can’t wait to try it. The menu looks like super fun with plenty of items I can’t wait to try like: Lobster & White Truffle Mac & Cheese, Angus Sliders with Black Truffle and Brie, and Maine Lobster Corn Dogs.  *stomach grumble* Uh.. is it dinner time yet?  LOL

You know me, I’ll definitely share all our good eats from tonight with you tomorrow!  :)
