My apologies, I wasn’t able to post about this sooner, but the buzz has already started!  The first annual Golden Compact Awards is the first-ever beauty awards by the blogging community and voted on by true beauty fanatics – YOU!

Co-founded by Jamie Sanders of The Beauty of Life, Michelle Mismas of All Lacquered Up, and moi, we spent the past few months diligently testing products to showcase the best in beauty in five categories: hair, skin care, body care, makeup and nails.

With the help of this year’s judging panel, Amber Katz of Beauty Blogging Junkie, Carolyn Hsu of The Daily Obsession, and Expert Panelist, Dr. Jody Levine weighing in on skin care, we are finally ready to reveal the finalists.

Here is your chance to make your voice heard: cast a ballot for your favorite products of 2008 from contenders like MAC, CoverGirl, Aveda, Biore and Dermalogica.  The polls are open from now through February 28, 2009.
