Too Faced Spring 2009: Chocolate & Pearls
Too Faced Cosmetics’ Chocolate & Pearls for the spring season is quite soft and demure – not what I’d expect from this usually bold and vibrant makeup brand. And that’s quite alright by me as I love wearing neutrals with a touch of sass.
The whole look, the chocolaty eye and hints of opalescence on the face and lips make this look super sophisticated and very wearable for everyday that you can create with just a couple of items.
The ones that I’m eying from this collection are:
Lockdown Ultimate Creaseless Cream Eye Shadows ($18.50 US) are made with pretty metallic pigments mixed with one of my all-time favorites, Shadow Insurance primer, to give us 6 shades to choose from. I’m diggin’ Dramarama and Bondage from the brown family of colors to get the Chocolate & Pearls look.
While the temps are still cold in February (not ideal for sunbathing), warm up your complexion with Chocolate Soleil ($27.50 US), a matte bronzer created with real cocoa and even smells like sweet chocolate!
I’m a sucker for glosses so it’s not a surprise that I’d gravitate towards the Girls Dig Pearls Lip Gloss ($18 US). These sparkling lip shades are made with Vitamin E, fresh peppermint extract and real crushed sea pearls – talk about a decadent collection! Available in four shades, these basic colors will fit right into your current arsenal.
Also included in the Chocolate & Pearls collection are Luster Liners ($16.50 US) to complement Girls Dig Pearls gloss and a new shade of Lash Injection Pin Point Mascara ($19.50 US) in Hot Chocolate. This mascara formula is also one of my favorites so I’m sure I’ll be picking one of these up.

I think I want to pick up the lip gloss, as I’m a lip gloss lover.
I don’t think the bronzer would look good on me though I love the idea of it smelling like chocolate

Hi Decorative Diva,
Who wouldn’t love to smell like chocolate?! It’s much nicer on my waistline than eating it
