Coming Up Roses: MAC Rose Romantic
A rose by any other name smell as sweet? If that name is MAC, it just might.
For summer, MAC introduces Rose Romantic, a color collection filled with rose-hued lipsticks, soft pink and purple shadows and two beauty powders with a pretty rose carved into it. Absolutely gorgeous.
More than anything, I’m really dying to see the beauty powders. They are one of my favorite MAC products ever and if I had to pass on everything else just for them, I surely would.
Are you looking forward to this collection hitting counters in a couple of weeks on April 23rd? Take a peak at the entire collection release and let me know what goodies from Rose Romance you can’t wait to get your hands on.

hhhmmm the beauty powders intrigue me and so does the Fix+ Rose. I am running low on my Fix+ so may have to try that one.

I think the beauty powder, lipsticks, eyeshadows and Fix+ Rose is definitely interesting… But I have to wait until May… *sighs*

Hi Marisol,
How do you like Fix+? I’ve actually never tried that before. I’m on the fence about things that have a rose scent – I don’t generally like it so it would depend on how strong it is.
BTW, I have previews of the beauty powder that I can’t wait to share with you later this week!

Hi Synaesthesia,
Don’t worry, May is not too far away! Do you like to wear lots of pinks? I love to wear pink glosses and lipsticks so I’m excited to see how the lippies from the collection will look

I think I am either on my 3rd or 4th bottle of Fix +. I use it almost daily to set my foundation and also when used with MSFs, I use to carry it around with me to refresh my make-up but my MU bag got too bulky. I am not sure about the rose scent as sometimes it reminds me of an old lady scent but some of them can be soothing. I will have to wait and see. If it’s too strong, then I probably won’t get it.
Can’t wait for your review.

I am so excited to check out Just a Pinch! The beauty powders are a must-have for me as well (I am still reeling from the Dame Ednas…wow), but I’m intrigued by the idea of a gel blush (as opposed to cream, which I use every time I get a chance).
…and I wouldn’t be shocked if A Rose Romance snuck in there as well!

Hi Marisol,
Wow, 4 bottles of Fix+! That must mean that I will have to try this out when I’m at the MAC counter next
Hope your Wednesday is a good one so far. I’m so glad the wind has died down!

Hi Kate,
The gel blush does seem really cool. I can’t wait to check it out too
Honestly Dame Edna had beautiful packaging but the shades weren’t standouts as I thought they were too light after the top shimmer layer wore off.
How’s your day going? Good I hope!
