(Not) Too Fly for.. China Glaze Kicks, Part 1
When I peeped China Glaze’s new Kicks Collection, I immediately thought of the sassy all-girl dance crew’s, Fly Khicks, from the third season of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.
These ladies used to be former dancers for the NBA’s Miami Heat basketball team so they know a thing or two about rockin’ the kicks. If you’re in tune with their style and flair for color, I think you’ll love China Glaze’s Kicks Collection.
Here are the first six shades from the vibrant and vivacious Kicks Collection, sure to be a hit for the summer, hanging out poolside.
I’ve been trying to find a light green that I can rock this summer. While Entourage came out a little more mellow in the photo, it’s way too neon green for my skintone in real life. I wish it looked more like the pic, I’d rock it in a heart beat!
Paper Chasing is super sassy, it looks just like the candy part of a Sour Apple Blow Pop – delicious enough to eat! The downfall, it took three coats of polish to obtain the color in the bottle.
It’s Poppin’ is a poppin’ dose of hot pink that sizzles up your nails – a universally good fuchsia for any skintone.
One of my favorites from this first part of the collection is Fly, a violet pink with a nostalgic old-school vibe that makes this color too legit to quit!
Custom Kicks is another shade that I love but couldn’t capture as well on camera. Here it looks like a creamy blue that belongs in a toddler boy’s bedroom. For a true peak at Custom Kicks, check out my girl Michelle’s swatches over at All Lacquered Up. You’ll definitely see what I’m talking about
Sky High Top is a periwinkle blue with subtle sh immer that just makes me feel good when I wear it. It’s a nice change for summer from navy shades that I’m more accustomed to wearing.
