Benefit from Benefit’s Auto Lipliner Pencils

One of the first lessons I learned in beauty was how to keep your lip color on longer with lip liners. You know the one, line and fill in your pucker with your favorite nude or mauve-pink lip liner and top with lipstick or a little gloss to make your color last longer.

For me, this tip really only worked with certain liners. In my experience, I’ve found that while some lip liners do tend to go further than lipsticks, they didn’t go that much farther; I could still wipe them off or eat them with my lunch.

But most recently, I found these new Benefit Automatic Lip Liners ($20 US) and they do just the trick – almost a little too well!

Buzz.. MAC Naked Honey is Coming!

For all you bronze goddesses and sun worshippers (without the sun, of course) MAC brings Naked Honey, a collection of golden honey goodness for your face and body.

More often than not, I’ve always been a pink-lippie kinda gal. Any season, any time of year, I am always content applying frosty pinks, sheer pinks, and bright fuschia pinks to complete any makeup look.

This is probably because I’ve always equated the sexy, golden girl look with the likes of J. Lo and Eva Mendez, who rock it so much better than I.

But lately I’ve been on a bronze kick and more open to experimenting. While I don’t have my look down yet (I’m still so pasty it’s not even funny), one shade that’s inspiring me is Buzz from Naked Honey.

Aww Honey, Honey!

What is usually thought of as a delectable ingredient to sweeten up your morning tea, atop pieces of biscuits with butter, and drizzled on grilled summer peaches, honey is more than what’s yummy to your tummy, it’s good for you on the outside too!

It’s no secret that beauty products with honey in them are good for your skin. Honey contains ingredients that are natural antioxidants and have natural antiseptic, cleansing, and healing properties.

So in the spirit of celebrating honey and all its delicious and good-for-you glory, here are some of our favorite honey beauty products of the season. Trust us, it’ll be hard to remember not to eat it!
