Get Baked This Summer with Urban Decay

Summer is fast approaching and makeup lines are popping out with the greatest and newest products for the long hot months ahead.

The Urban Decay Get Baked Kit ($28 US) is a true gem among their famous palettes. Inside the Pucci-inspired case are four eye shadows: Twice-Baked, Half-Baked, Flipside, and Baked.

The colors are all gorgeous. Pigmentation and texture are amazing and they glide on like butter.

From left to right:

Half-Baked, a metallic neutral beige
Baked, a shimmering peachy beige similar to Half-Baked with with a tinge of copper
Twice-Baked, a dark brown with gold glitter
Flipside, a metallic light blue
Bourbon Eye Pencil (below), a deep chocolate pencil with gold flecks

What’s also really cool about the colors in this palette are that the eye shadows apply like they are wet. The shadows shimmer and sparkle really intensely, almost like you foiled them.

There are also two additional items to this set. The Mini Bourbon 24/7 Eye Pencil is waterproof and highly pigmented for brown eyeliner. What I really like about Urban Decay eyeliners is that they glide on so easily without tugging or pulling.

Sin Primer Potion is a shimmery nude eye shadow base which helps to prevent creasing and helps them stay on longer and more vibrant.

Overall, the Urban Decay Get Baked Kit is a stunning kit for the summer months ahead.

Have you tried this palette yet?  What are your favorite kits for the season?
