Wear ‘Em Cowboy! Urban Decay Midnight Cowboy Body Shimmer Lotion
Summertime calls for perfectly bronzed and sun-kissed skin. But if you prefer to stay pale like me, a shimmering glow is the way to go.
New from Urban Decay this season is Midnight Cowboy Body Shimmer Lotion ($28US), a shimmering all-over lotion that will illuminate your skin.
Inspired by one of Urban Decay’s best-selling eye shadow shades, Midnight Cowboy, this body lotion does a great job of bringing the gold and silver sparkle out onto your skin.
I apply this all over my arms and it really does stay put for most of the day until I wash it off.
You can’t see the shimmer too well on my skin due to the lighting; it’s on the top half of my hand if you can tell the different. But here’s another photo of the palm of my hand after I smoothed it all over. This is close to what it looks like on the rest of my body; I think the nooks and crannies of my aging hands enhance it better, LOL.
The huge bottle will be enough to last me all summer in my sundresses and into the fall and winter when I want a veil of shimmer on my arms and legs for those brisk nights out on the town.
I love the glow I get from Midnight Cowboy Body Shimmer Lotion, however I’m not loving the smell at all. If you read Muse’s review last night, she totally digs the milk and honey scent that smells like coconut tanning lotion. For me, I like the smell of coconut for the most part – it reminds me of the tropics and vacations – but this smelled a little too artificial for my taste.
Luckily for me, the scent does fade after a little while and I can go about the rest of my day feeling luminous and glowing in the sunshine.

Seems really nice! I like shimmer but I don’t like the shedding glitter fairy effect where it makes eveything around you sparkly. But these sparkles seem sheer and light.

Does the shimmer transfer into your clothes? Midnight Cowboy is one of my fave shadows from this brand. Perfect for a going out.
