Gorgeous Skin When It Counts with Lancôme Génefique

lancome-genefique.jpg

This week I’ve been taking a couple of classes at San Francisco State’s College of Extended Learning and this morning I’m running a little late – they really should have never invented snooze buttons.

Late mornings equals minimal makeup but that’s okay because my skin is looking better than ever thanks to Lancôme Génefique ($78 US).

I first started testing this “youth activating concentrate” about six weeks ago when we featured tips on How to Manage Your Wrinkles from Charla Krupp’s latest book How Not To Look Old.

Lancôme Génefique is an elixir that you apply daily under your moisturizer.  The serum works with your own genes to produce specific proteins’ activity and stimulate the production of those youth proteins.

I’ve been using just a little bit of Génefique, about a dime-size, every day on my skin and over the past six weeks, I can really feel a difference, even if I can’t see it.  The texture is a little runny when I squeeze it out, but when I apply it, it feels nice and freshing all over, sinking into my skin quickly.

My face feels softer and more moisturized, which is a huge plus.  I can wash my face and not feel nearly as much tightness in my skin that I usually do.  Could it be true that my skin’s getting younger by the day?  My complexion hasn’t felt like this for as long as I can remember.

The best thing?  Since I’ve been using Lancôme Génefique I haven’t really worn a lot of makeup because I feel a lot better about my skin.

Lancôme Génefique is a little expensive at $78 US but with the results that I’ve seen for myself, I’d it’s totally worth it.  What do you think?  Would you try this for yourself?  My suggestion would be to ask your local counter for a nice sample to try before you buy, at least a week’s worth if you can.  You’ll see and feel a difference in just a few days, in my opinion.

So today, as I’m running late to catch the BART downtown for my morning class because I’m writing this story, I’m not going to wear too much makeup – just some mascara and gloss.  Ta ta!
