Sneak Peak: MAC Euristocrats 2 Dazzleglass

mac-euristocrats-2-promo.jpg

MAC Euristocrats 2 collection launches on counters on July 2nd (but if you can’t wait, check it out online!) and is the follow up to the UK Exclusive collection of MAC Euristocrats that came out in April 2008.

I attended the International Makeup Artist Trade Show over the weekend and was able to get a sneak peak of three of the new Dazzleglasses ($18 US each) from Euristocrats 2. They really are amazing colors, and I believe that this collection will be quite popular with lippy lovers of the world!

From left to right: Internationalist, Roman Holiday, and Euro Beat

I would describe Roman Holiday (left) as a dirty raspberry coral with brown undertones. It’s rather dark compared to the other colors, but is very wearable. The color is not too sheer and shows up on the lips. I would love to see this layered over a nude lipstick to spice it up.

Internationalist (center) looks to be universally flattering. There’s enough blue and yellow undertones mixed in to be a perfect pink lipgloss for any skintone.  It is a very pretty, basic color that I think will be quite popular.

Coral is my favorite color for lips, so I love Euro Beat (right). It’s an amazing blend of pure coral with gold sparkle. It’s just a gorgeous summery lipgloss, perfect for the beach. The shimmer is not chunky and looks very pretty on the lips. The shine for this one is dazzling, so it definitely lives up to its Dazzleglass name.

Which Dazzleglass are you lemming from the Euristocrats 2 collection? Do you crave any of the lipsticks or lipliners? Tell me what you would haul in the comments!
