Best Summer Lip Balms (With SPF!)
Here’s a shocking truth: lips can get sun burned too. Personally, I always thought that peeling, cracked lips were the result of dry and dehydrated lips.
However, I learned quite recently that the sun is the main culprit for many of our lip woes. With that in mind, let’s all protect our puckers together and take a look at some good lip balms with SPF!
Tarte 24/7 Lip Sheer SPF 15 in Summer Fling ($14 US) is described as a sheer peachy pink. I’d like to say that this color will be great for those lazy days. The pop of color will instantly brighten up your face!
MAC Tendertone in Purring has SPF 12 and smells like strawberry and kiwi. It’s a soft, jelly like lip balm that makes lips look plush and gorgeous. Unfortunately, it’s been discontinued, but L’Oreal HIP Jelly Balm in Delectable ($9 US) is quite similar.
Softlips Lip Protectant with SPF 20 ($2.69 US) is inexpensive and come in amazing flavors. I love Raspberry. This is also perfect for bringing to the beach, because you won’t grieve if you lose it.
Benefit Benetint Lip Balm SPF 15 ($20 US) is a beautiful ruby red tinted lip balm that moisturizes the lips. It smells like roses and looks like roses on your luscious lips. Plus the vintage looking packaging is so cute for touch ups!
