Lilan Had a Little Lamb: The Sweet Dreams Collection

I don’t know about you, but I sometimes have a hard time sleeping in a bed that’s not mine when I’m traveling.
Last week, I spent five days visiting my mom up in Lake Tahoe. And while she prepared a cozy bed with comfy linens and pillows for me to snuggle up in, I just couldn’t fall asleep those first two nights.
Anticipating my restlessness, I brought along a neck wrap and eye mask I just got from The Happy Company’s Sweet Dreams Collection to see if they would help me catch some zzz’s.
Filled with flax seeds and piles of lavender buds, the Sweet Dreams Neck Wrap ($17.99 US) is pretty comfy. The flannel-covered wrap smelled soothing and wonderfully faint of lavender. I didn’t attempt to use this at bedtime while I was there but it came in really handy on the plane ride (albeit a short one) to Reno.
On Monday, my first night back in San Francisco, I heated the neck wrap in the microwave for a minute to warm it up before using. The warmth creates a relaxing vibe and helps to calm right before bedtime and I really did sleep like a baby!

What I did use while I was in Tahoe was the Sweet Dreams Sleep Mask ($7.99 US). It’s light-weight and is also filled with lavender. I love this because you can smell it right on your nose and reminds of the spa.
The Sweet Dreams collection also includes an All-Over Body Wrap ($19.99 US) and Dream Pillow ($9.99 US) that can also be re-heated to keep you warm and cozy and help you rest easier.
Everything in this collection also features a sweet and fluffy little pink lamb embroidered onto each piece to add a touch of whimsy. I’ll definitely be using these on the regular during road trips and on cold nights here in the city.
What do you do or use to help you sleep at night when you’re feeling restless?

I always have trouble sleeping somewhere new but I never thought about finding something to help me sleep.
The sleep mask seems like a good solution.
I think maybe earplugs would help too.
I went home recently and while trying to sleep, all I could hear were two clocks ticking.
Not very soothing.

The sleep mask sounds divine. The scent of lavender is very calming and it’s like pure relaxation at a my eyes close. Sometimes I leave the TV on or I’ll play a CD that’s calming.

Hi Karrie,
I’ve never tried ear plugs before. It’s probably just me but I’d probably feel that nagging feeling that something is in my ear, lol.
Although with two clocks ticking in my ear while I sleep, trying thing is probably a must, yes? Hopefully you remember to bring a set next time you go home

Hi hot beauty health,
I used to not like the smell of lavender but if it’s subtle enough, I really love it. You’re right it’s so relaxing!

I use Downie’s Simple Pleasures fabric softener & dryer sheets on my towels, comforter, pillow shams and sheets. I love the smell and I feel like it makes my bed a more soothing & calm place because of the scent.
